 * Adding the Simple Calendar Widget breaks the page (front-end) with a PHP error:
 * Fatal error: Call to undefined function SimpleCalendar\Feeds\mb_detect_encoding()
   in /home/chhedevr/public_html/wp-content/plugins/google-calendar-events/includes/
   feeds/google.php on line 185
 * Tried with both a widget that was legacy (created before the update) and adding
the new Simple Calendar widget. No go.

 * Hi you will need to make sure you have the correct PHP module (mbstring in this
   case) installed on the server.
