 * Hello b-slider Support,
 * I’m encountering a fatal error with the **b-slider** plugin on my WordPress site.
   My hosting provider has advised me to contact the plugin developer.
 * Here’s the error message:
 * PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function json_decode() in /
   home/evtechc1/public_html/wp-content/plugins/b-slider/bplugins_sdk/init.php:31
 * **Environment details:**
    - WordPress version: 6.8.2
    - b-slider version: 2.0.2
    - PHP version: 7.4.33
    - Hosting: cPanel on shared hosting (home6 server path shown above)
 * It looks like the plugin is attempting to use `json_decode()`, but the function
   is unavailable on the server. From my understanding, this could mean the PHP `
   json` extension isn’t being detected or isn’t loaded correctly.
 * Could you please confirm if this is a compatibility issue with b-slider 2.0.2
   on PHP 7.4, or if the plugin requires additional server configuration (e.g.,
   enabling the JSON extension)?
 * Thank you for your help and guidance on resolving this.
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fphp-fatal-error-477%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)
