# PHP file missing? Is this fixable?

 * I asked hostgator to restore a backup, unfortunately the last backup they had
   was not far enough back to bring the website back up to normal and still has 
   the following errors. Is this fixable?
 * Warning: require(/home/ridenour/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php): failed
   to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/ridenour/public_html/wp-settings.
   php on line 72
 * Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required ‘/home/ridenour/public_html/wp-
   includes/functions.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/php54/lib/php’) in /home/ridenour/
   public_html/wp-settings.php on line 72

 * Hi Lori,
 * This could be easily fixed if you upload the files in question to your FTP server.
 * But due to the theme active and some functions that are being used by either 
   theme or plugins inside the functions.php file it is the best to upload a complete
   wordpress.zip to your FTP server and extract it.
 * Then you should edit your WP-config.php file to with a proper Database credentials
   so that the connection with the Database is established.
 * Also, the guide that the Steve linked could be used as well.
