# PHP Functions – Dumb Question

 * Where do I find (in the Codex pages) a reference guide to all the WP PHP functions
   and their variables ?
 * (Blooging-wise I’m relatively sophisticated, been doing it for 7 years, but PHP-
   wise I know wenough to be dangerous, however … trying-out new widgets and plug-
   ins, I invariably break things that are in the php functions that are part of
   my selected – and customised – theme. I need to reverse engineer which functions
   do what … in the theme and in the WP functions … before making changes.
 * Observation – using the WP UI to select themes, widgets and plug-ins is fine 
   of you are starting new – but it blows away anythng more sophisticated you already
   had. Lesson learned.
 * Anyway simple question – where is the WP PHP Reference ?
