# PHP memory limit glitch?

 * I’m self-hosted, WordPress 3.1.1
 * > Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 25952256) (tried to allocate 7680 bytes)
   > in public_html/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-list-table.php on line 267
 * > Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 27787264) (tried to allocate 122880 bytes)
   > in public_html/wp-includes/class-simplepie.php on line 3736
 * I have the maximum of 128M, which my host allows, set via php.ini by default.
   I just FTPed and replaced all core files.
 * I just witched back to the default theme, and I still get these random errors
   on dashboard widgets, etc.
 * All plugins are now disabled, I only had Jetpack, register plus redux, simple
   breadcrumbs, and wp better e-mails. All are now deactivated. I get a “RSS Error:
   WP HTTP Error: Couldn’t resolve host ‘wordpress.org'” error now on the dashboard.
 * I disabled Multisite via the config file, I hadn’t set it up yet, I did previously,
   though on another host.
 * I have no other ideas to why I’m always getting fatal errors. I am seriously 
   considering wiping out my database and wordpress to start fresh.

 * I just had this difficulty and I changed memory_limit = 32M to 128M in the php.
   ini file. I had to change the specific php.ini file in wp-admin and that worked
   for me.
