# php problems with responsive on WordPress 3.9

 * I have Problem with WordPress 3.9 and my theme “Responsive” from cyber chimps
   
   I have used Responsive theme for a while. Now after updating to WordPress 3.9
   I notice a lot of errors when customizing the theme I am using version 1.9.5.3
   I tried updating to 1.9.5.5. but the errors were still there and that only made
   it worse, making me loose the widgets as well.
 * When customizing the theme I get PHP errors

 * I set back the site to WordPress 3.8
    Theme works fine in this version on this
   site
 * But bit depressed, have several sites on WordPress with this theme.
    This is 
   a bug in WordPress I just read on the development site

 * I found this similar problem on [https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/27850](https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/27850),
   which I think is happening on my site, since the errors are exactly the same.
