 * Hi there
 * We have used this plugin for a few years now and it was working great. With the
   latest update I seem to have problems getting the php templates to work. The
   one I would really like to get working is the popup in the monthly view. Could
   you expand a bit on how to use these new templates, for instance give a comparison
   of an old template and how that should look like in the php template?
 * Thanks, Antoon

 * Have you looked at [the documentation](https://docs.joedolson.com/my-calendar/php-templates/)?
   PHP templates are completely different from the previous templating; you’d start
   by copying the template you want to change into y our theme directory, then you
   can adapt it from there.

 * OK, thanks! I did read the documentation and it starting to make a little sense.
   I was able to get the single event popup to show up. However still a problem.
   In grid view, the popups work for the current month, but as soon as you navigate
   to another month, the popups remain completely empty. When I refresh the page,
   the popups show up correctly. In List view the popups populate correctly. I observed
   this both on Edge as well as Firefox. I disabled the cache for this page but
   it did not make a difference. Any suggestions?
 * Thanks again!

 * Oh, that’s weird. Exploring. Not sure what’s happening there; there shouldn’t
   be anything about the load process that makes a dfference here, so I’m not sure
   why the template loader isn’t returning anything during an AJAX query.

 * Found it; it’s a Javascript issue in the disclosure widget scripting. If you
   switch to the modal (My Calendar > Design > Scripts: “Modal”), then this issue
   won’t be happening. I’ll get it fixed, though.

 * Thanks a lot!! This worked and the popups look much better now too!
