 * Hello dear WP Forum member,
 * I run a WordPress page with the UKU Shop Theme by Elma Studio and Woocommerce
   plugin. As my PHP is 7.4 I wanted to update to 8.2 or at least any higher version.
   As soon as I update PHP I get a fatal error. Switching back to PHP 7.4 solves
   the Problem.
 * I tried deactivating all Plugins – and then the page worked, I re-activated the
   plugins one by one and as soon as Woocommerce was activated the page had a fatal
   error.
 * At the Moment I am running:
 * WordPress-Version 6.5.5
   Aktives Theme: Uku (Version 1.4.0)Aktuelles Plugin:  (
   Version )PHP-Version 7.4
 * The Error Email
 *     ```wp-block-code
       Ein Fehler vom Typ E_ERROR wurde in der Zeile 100 der Datei /home/www/mywebsite.de/wp-content/themes/uku/woocommerce/woocommerce.php verursacht. Fehlermeldung: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function create_function() in /home/www/mywebsite.de/wp-content/themes/uku/woocommerce/woocommerce.php:100Stack trace: 0 /home/www/mywebsite.de/wp-content/themes/uku/functions.php(820): require() 1 /home/www/mywebsite.de/wp-settings.php(663): include('/home/www/mywebsite…') 2 /home/www/mywebsite.de/wp-config.php(71): require_once('/home/www/mywebsite…') 3 /home/www/mywebsite.de/wp-load.php(50): require_once('/home/www/mywebsite…') 4 /home/www/mywebsite.de/wp-admin/admin.php(34): require_once('/home/www/mywebsite…') 5 /home/www/mywebsite.de/wp-admin/plugins.php(10): require_once('/home/www/mywebsite…') 6 {main}
       ```
 * Any ideas, what to do?
 * As the saying goes, correlation does not imply causality.
 * In this case, the problem stems from your active theme: specifically, the theme’s
   support for the WooCommerce plugin. That’s why the problem was triggered when
   you activated the WooCommerce plugin.
 * As your theme is a commercial product, we’re unable to offer any assistance here.
 * Please get in touch with your theme’s vendor to discuss PHP **8.x** compatibility.
 * Good luck!
 * Hello [@gappiah](https://wordpress.org/support/users/gappiah/),
 * Unfortunately the Support doesn’t even answer.
 * But thank you for taking the time,
 * Jo
