 * I’m running PHP 8.0 on my server. AIO SEO is showing me a warning that I’m on
   an outdated PHP version. I thought you should know that your PHP check is not
   working correctly.

 * We check the `PHP_VERSION` constant for this which is set by web server. Have
   you verified that your site is configured to use the PHP 8.0 binary in your web
   server?

 * Sorry, I missed this. All I know is the server is set for 8.0 in cpanel.

   what could be causing this. If you’re 100% sure that your web server is using
   PHP 8.0 for this particular site, then it might be a good idea to send a message
   to your hosting partner and ask them why the PHP_VERSION constant would be set
   to PHP 7.3.33.

   if this issue has been sorted for you – as I also received outdated php warning
   and I am also running version 8, configured correctly in cpanel, also began being
   thrown after an AISEO update.
