 * Good Day,
 * Why did SiteGround deactivate the PHP Version Manager (i.e., switcher)? It is
   a very useful, convenient tool.
 * Please bring it back!
 * Thank you.

 * I am afraid it’s not coming back to the plugin 🙂 Both cPanel and Site Tools
   provide an easy one-click way to switch PHP versions. There are some new upcoming
   changes that will provide even more options in that directions so keeping functionality
   in one place is crucial.

 * Quick question regarding php version management. The plugin put this line in
   the htaccess file:
 * > # START PHP VERSION CHANGE forced by SG Optimizer
   >  AddHandler application/x-
   > httpd-recommended-php .php .php5 .php4 .php3 # END PHP VERSION CHANGE
 * But it’s still there, however I’m assuming it needs to stay there for cPanel
   and Site Tools to manage the version?

 * We are keeping it so removing the functionality does not result in a version
   change. If you modify the PHP version it will perform a cleanup 🙂
