# PHP version not reflacting

 * Hello
 * I have updated my website with the PHP version 7.3.2 but the Event Espresso notice
   still shows like below
 * Event Espresso recommends PHP version 5.6.32 or greater for optimal performance.
   You are currently running version 5.6.30.
    In order to update your version of
   PHP, you will need to contact your current hosting provider. For information 
   on stable PHP versions, please go to [http://php.net/downloads.php](http://php.net/downloads.php).
 * so why it’s noticing shows that I need to update my PHP version?
    I have also
   checked my PHP version with the phpinfo it also shows PHP 7.3.2.

 * Hi there,
 * I’m sorry for the confusion, that notice is a persistent notification that shows
   until you dismiss it by clicking the x in the top right of the notification itself.
 * If you dismiss the notice, does it show again on the next request?
 * If your server has been updated to use PHP 7.3.2 then that notification should
   not be shown again, you can also confirm the version that Event Espresso sees
   in Event Espresso -> Maintenance -> System information.
 * Search for ‘php’ and it should show the version detected.
