# PHP warning

 * I recently upgraded to PHP 8+ and now I see the following warning when I am in
   debug mode:
 *     ```wp-block-code
       Deprecated: strlen(): Passing null to parameter #1 ($string) of type string is deprecated in /.../wp-content/plugins/wp-ajaxify-comments/wp-ajaxify-comments.php on line 560
       ```
   
 * It’s just a deprecation warning so not urgent, but perhaps you can fix it in 
   the next update?

 * I’m running PHP 8.1.13 and can confirm no warnings/deprecations in the 2.0 Beta
   1 version. Still need to do more tests before release, however.

   as resolved as I see no new error messages in version 2.0 of this plugin and 
   PHP 8.1.
