It’s because of the safe mode your php is running in.
This has no consequence.
This warning will not show in future versions of the plugin.

Please activate logging function of the plugin to get more details.
(I suppose you’ve got the last version of the plugin, and your other plugins are up to date, too)
Yes all plugins are updated.
I activated logging function but the email that aren’t sent aren’t logged. Instead there are these errors in the error_log:

This warning is just that, a warning. It’s not an error, it does not break the flow of the program nor mail sending.
I’m not talking about the php error_log, but the own wp-ses log that can be activated within the plugin settings screen.
Either sent emails are loggued there, either there’s a line explaining why the plugin is not active.
Ok, the wp-ses log is active and these are the lines:

I can see no error there.

one email was sent, got the message id from amazon
No mails with an error.
“2 Verified Emails.” is an init message from the plugin (when refreshing the admin page f.i.), it’s not an error message nor a failed mail hint.
No trace there of a failed email.
What process/plugin is supposed to create the emails ?
