# PHP8 Compatible?

 * Are there any known issues with PHP8? My server was 7.4 and the NS Cloner worked
   great. When I updated PHP to 8.0, the clone process gets stuck at 15%. I revert
   back to PHP 7.4 and the clone worked smooth as butter.

 * Sorry for the delay, we are still looking into any issues with PHP8 but for now
   we recommend using an earlier version if that works on your end…

 * Sorry for the delay… at this time we are not certain of any PHP 8 issues directly
   related to Cloner functioning properly, but if you are still experiencing issues
   I would try downgrading to the earlier version of PHP to see if that makes a 
   difference. We will still be testing on our end to make sure there are no issues
   regarding compatibility with PHP 8. Thanks!

 * Sorry for the long delay in updates here, but today we released version 4.2.0
   which contains a fix for an issue (stricter handling of serialized objects from
   the database) that seemed to be responsible for some issues experience with the
   Cloner on PHP 8 — we’ll continue to monitor but as far as we know this should
   represent a full resolution for anyone using PHP 8.
