# PHP8 HTTP 500 error

 * I get an HTTP 500 Error when on PHP8 I try to send my message via CF7 on a lower
   version (PHP7) this is possible. Will there be an update for PHP8 soon?

    we tried this plugin
   with PHP8 locally and it’s working really good.
 * We need more info about the error from you.
    Would you turn on debug mode on 
   your wordpress? and can share what exact error you are seeing there?

 * I have disabled the plugin and now it works. I can set my PHP version lower and
   then it does work as well. But I would prefer a higher PHP version.

   to see the error, as it involved a lot of risk.
 * You have two options.
 * 1. You may want to try using Contact-form-7’s default “file” field and see if
   you can upload and send files.
    2. You can purchase our pro plugin and then we
