Pinnacle Shortcodes?!

Hey,

i’m new in WordPress and Pinnacle, so hopefully you understand my inexperience with it. 🙂

I set up the Pinnacle Theme and want to use the short codes, which are shown on the demo page here: http://themes.kadencethemes.com/pinnacle/shortcodes/

Now i cannot find any list of them so i cannot use them on my site. 🙁 The only thing i found was, that the “add shortcode”-Button is only available in the premium theme, but in the demo these are also displayed, so i think, that i can use them in the free version too?!

Hey,
First make sure you have the virtue/pinnacle toolkit installed.

Then you can see this image which shows the buttons that are added for the free version:

Thanks a lot!

That was my mistake because i installed a alternative editor plugin, which don’t seem to append your extension.

Do you know, which editor can handle your buttons or how i can append them to another editor?

Hey Hannah, with the visual editor I can use your buttons, but I can’t edit e.g. Font size. So I tried the ckEditor, but this one won’t show your buttons.

Do you understand, what I mean?

Are you trying to change the font size of the buttons or the normal text? You can edit the header font from the toolbar toggle. Does this work?

I just want to edit the default blog post text and site texts, which I cannot edit in the theme (e.g. A single bigger sentence, which should not be a heading (seo)

Unfurtanely not, but i’ll search for an editor, which can handle the theme buttons.

Ah, the TinyMCEAdvanced has a seperate options menu to set up the editor. Now it works very well. 🙂

I have to get used with the different workflows in each plugin. Shame on me O:-)
