 * I want to give more option:
    – Subscribe only a particular category, for example
   selected from the list and even better if it were automatically take into account
   entries for this category – Notice not only of content but also when the entry
   was updated

 * Category Subscriptions are already available for Registered Users in per-post
   mode.
 * Emails for post update are not something everyone wants however that are possible
   with a little bit of code and the plugin API:
    [https://subscribe2.wordpress.com/support/api/](https://subscribe2.wordpress.com/support/api/)
 * Using the ‘s2_post_statuses’ hook add ‘published’ to the monitored statuses and
   when a post is updated and email will be generated.
