Please bring back toolbar when editing

    Was it since the 5 series that the editing screen was cleaned up? I still really dislike the fact that when I’m editing a post, I can’t just navigate to either the post (without publishing), revert to the dashboard, etc. When the top admin navigation was always visible, this was a lot more convenient for me.

    When I’m at it. What I also don’t like is the way the blocks work. When inside a block, there is a navigation which -for example- prevents me from adding a block above without having to click somewhere else on the screen to get rid of the block navigation.
    The same with the right menu. When I make a post, I first have to categorize it, as as soon as I start typing, the menu on the right is block menu and no longer post menu.

    Please don’t post in the Alpha/Beta forum unless you’re actually testing the alpha/beta version of WordPress (not a plugin or a theme). Also, once WordPress has released a version, it’s not appropriate to post in alpha/beta

    You can re-enabled the Top Toolbar, by the way, it’s an option on the right-side panel. If you find it’s not sticking try Persistent Block Editor Config
