# Error message on my site

 * Hello,
    I have been having problems with my wordpress site hosted on Godaddy 
   since May. First it was redirecting to porn sites and other unsavory gaming sites.
   Now the entire site is down and I get this error message. Parse error: syntax
   error, unexpected ‘/’ in /home/content/67/11519767/html/wp-blog-header.php on
   line 12
 * I am so frustrated. I have no idea where to start or what to do.
    please help?!

 * Hello lbvfoto,
 * Your problem seems very weird indeed, mmm I’m not familiar with Godaddy but client
   dashboard is quite recognized in industry. You can try simple steps to start 
   with:
 * 1) save your files and database if you put time in writing nice posts and so 
   on – the important part is the database (something.sql) because all the text 
   is written there
    2) check if you have a one-click button to reinstall wordpress(
   there is one i heard) 3) when you reinstall wordpress, be sure that automatic
   security updates are enabled (it should by default with new fresh installs) 4)
   rewrite all the fluff (files) by ftp, rewrite the database with phpmyadmin with
   the file saved before
 * You might experience a bug with site in blank page again if wp-config.php is 
   not in the root folder or directing to a wrong database url. Check that in the
   codex / Godaddy docs on how to setup wordpress for the database part.
