# Please help? Navigation sidebar missing on posts

 * My navigation sidebar works for everything else except when I add a post and 
   click on the page for the post the navigation sidebar is missing. What is causing
   this?

 * Try looking in the index.php file, the problem might be there

 * how would the problem be there? the navigation works fine for every other page
   like archives, category’s, etc etc. it’s just not creating the navigation side
   bar for my posts..

 * look into the single.php, it is probably not calling the sidebar (the default
   theme for instance does not call a sidebar when viewing single posts)

 * haha what a dumby I am, thanks alchymyth. guess it’s time to find a theme that
   does. appreciate the help!
