# Please help! Permalink structure isn't working!

 * In the permalink settings I have the custom structure as /%category%/%postname%/.
   However when I search for it in goggle it shows up several times with different
   pages of the website. Which isn’t a bad thing. I don’t want the “Copyright 2010
   there. However, should’nt it alway go back to the home page with the perlink 
   set like tht?

 * No, because with this “/%category%/%postname%/”, you’re assigning a “permanent”
   link to each post which is [http://www.yourdomain.com/whatevercategory/nameofpost](http://www.yourdomain.com/whatevercategory/nameofpost)

 * I looked at your demonstration site and I see what you’re referring to about 
   the subpages. But why does my menu tabs not go back to the main page. Maybe it
   would be easier to explain my problem if you look at the site.
    Also don’t know
   what the root folder is.
