Please keep this with full site editing

We use the classic editor a lot for short, simple blog posts.

We might rebuild our 2 sites with full site editing next year and ditch our current classic premium themes (Avada and Enfold), but we want to stay with the classic editor for short blog posts. No ‘classic block’, just the classic editor directly when you click Posts > Add new post.

Blocks are demanding. They require more of everything:
– mouse clicks
– time
– display size
– browser performance
– skills from author/editor…

That’s all worth while for fixed pages or posts with a longer lifetime. But for short news flashes (or ‘tweets’) and widgets we want to keep life as simple as it is now with the classic editor.
