Please make Coming Soon mode part of WordPress Core

Hi WordPress core team,

Please consider making a coming soon mode and maintenance mode part of core, or Jetpack.

The existing plugins come with the following problems:
– They cannot embrace Gutenberg blocks because they cling on to their own pagebuilders. This way, my landing page looks lame in comparison with what I am able to build with Gutenberg.
– Now in crowdfunding stage, I am set before the choice to launch the entire site or only make one landing page visible. There is no inbetween like doing a crowdfunding with Woocommerce while I am still building the website. Because next I would have to think about complex user rights management for logged in users / donors ahead of launch.

As a user, I am overwhelmed with how to handle that. It seems like a separate website just for crowdfunding is the most straightforward solution.
