Please read this if your summary rating counts are incorrect!

Site Reviews v3 is a major upgrade from version 2.
The biggest problem with v2 is that it would calculate the summary ratings on each page load. This worked fine for small amounts of reviews, but caused major performance issues on sites with thousands of reviews.
Site Reviews v3 solves this problem by keeping an internal count of your review ratings, and automatically updates this count when:
- One or more reviews are created
- One or more reviews are updated
- One or more reviews are deleted
- One or more reviews are assigned to a category or post
- One or more reviews are un-assigned from a category or post
If you are experiencing a problem where the Site Reviews Summary is not showing the correct number of ratings, you can fix this by going to the Tools page and clicking the “Recalculate Counts” button.

If recalculating the rating counts does not work, this is 99% of the time due to one of the following reasons:
- Your page may be cached. If you are using a caching plugin, please clear your page cache and try again.
- You may be using the shortcode/block/widget options incorrectly. Please verify that the “category” and “assigned_to” options are being used properly. The “Shortcodes” tab on the “Site Reviews > Documentation” page has full documentation on what these options do and how to use them.

If you have tried everything shown above and are still having problems, please contact us directly by following the instructions on the “Contact Support” section on the Documentation page:
