Title: Plug in causing white screen error Last modified: August 21, 2016 --- # Plug in causing white screen error * [creativefield](https://wordpress.org/support/users/creativefield/) * (@creativefield) * [12 years, 6 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/plug-in-causing-white-screen-error/) * When I have the Better WP Security plugin active on my site [http://www.internal-balance.com](http://www.internal-balance.com/), I get a white screen, that says error in the top left corner, I only get this intermittently. * I use this plug in on several websites, and have never had this issues before. Typically, I use a standard list of plugins for all my sites. The difference in this one is my client wanted a translator, so we added ‘Transposh Translation Filter’ My guess is that there is some kind of incompatibility between the two or maybe it is just a setting within one of the plug ins. I’ve used this plugin on several sites and never had it before. But this particular site also uses a secure content plugin. I have used it on several sites with no problem. But it isn’t working on one specific site. I haven’t had trouble with any other sites in the past week except that one. I think it may be a plugin conflict so I just disabled WP Security. Though we have quite a few plugins on this site, including several I have never used before. I haven’t had time to go through and test it with everyone one. I disabled all of them and got things running again and then had the issue come up again later in the same day. This happened three of four times.
