# Plug-ins using JavaScript not working on local server install.

 * Hi Guys,
 * I’m currently developing a WP/BuddyPress site on a local server – XAMPP installation.
   Everything works a treat but any plug-in requiring JavaScript seems to break –
   content appears but is stacked as if JavaScript is disabled.
 * Is there a known issue with local installs and JavaScript or am I just missing
   something obvious?
 * Any help would be massively appreciated.
