 * The site appears fine to the public, but I cannot access the site to make changes.
   I get the error:
 * Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started
   at /home/diamondgirl62/public_html/wp-includes/bookmark-template.php:1) in /home/
   diamondgirl62/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1121

 * I’m getting a very similar error, and it seems to have popped up out of nowhere.
I haven’t made any updates since the last time I was in the Admin CP.

 * Similar – the last time I was in the CP, about a week ago, I browsed other themes,
but didn’t execute a change. But now I am essentially locked out, because I every
time I go to /wp-admin I get this error message instead of access to my site.

 * I’m still not having any luck. Are you? By the way, who is your host? I wonder
if this isn’t an issue caused by the host.

 * Mine is hosted by GoDaddy. I called them and they tried. I find that GoDaddy
has excellent telephone support, but they couldn’t help with this one becasue
it requires fixing code and the error message is locking us out. I am amazed
that WordPress doesn’t offer ANY telephone support. They recommended using a
search engine using the error message. This result was interesting [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/warning-cannot-modify-header-information-117?replies=8](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/warning-cannot-modify-header-information-117?replies=8)

but I don’t have FTP access tot he site set up, and I don’t have any backup files
to work from. It seems to have something to do with a stray space following a
   php tag in the code.

 * That’s what I’ve been reading too, but that doesn’t seem to be helping my case
any. I think WordPress offers livechat, which is almost as good as telephone
   support.

 * A web-savvy friend told me to call my hosting platform (GoDaddy, which has great
support) and ask them to reset my pages to a date before the error message started.
I am going to try that. Let me know if you have any success with the livechat.

 * I use to see that error message all the time when I created php sessions. But,
   wordpress doesn’t use sessions.
 * I think the best solution would be to ftp into your site and remove all your
from the plugin folder and see if the site comes up.
 * If you have access to your cpane there should be an icon on it to create an ftp
user. You can download an ftp client install it.
 * Cpanel usually has an icon that will automatically configure the ftp client for
   you.

 * I hear you, but this error message comes up as soon as I enter the /wp-admin
URL, effectively blocking me from getting into the backend of the site in any
way… so i can’t get to my Cpanel.

 * cpanel has nothing to do with wordpress totally different applications. You should
be able to get to cpanel by typing your domain name followed by /cpanel.
 * wordpress can’t keep you from getting to your cpanel.

 * I think I fixed my problem. I did quite a few things, so I’m not sure exactly
which thing did the trick (maybe it was a combination of things?), but one thing
to try is to go into Dashboard > Updates and click the Re-install Now button.
