# Plugin

 * Ever since the WP update to 6.8.3, I cannot update, nor remove Akismet plugin.
   It is static. When I try to update, I get the error: “Update failed: Could not
   remove old plugin.”. When I try to remove the plugin I get the error: “Could 
   not fully remove the plugin akismet/akismet.php.” I don’t know what to do, or
   how to proceed. Are there any suggestions?

 * You will have to contact your webhost for help with this; it’s probably a file
   permissions issue that we can’t do anything about.
