# Plugin Abandoned?

 * Wordfence is now warning that this plugin is “abandoned”, although it is still
   working for me on WP 5.9.3.

 * Abandoned doesn’t mean ‘doesn’t work’ but does mean ‘potentially’ vulnerable.
 * I’m now looking for an alternative, as I now tend to remove any plugins that 
   have been abandoned……the risk is just too great.
 * I’ll report back, but I’m going to try ‘Pages with category and tag’ ([https://wordpress.org/plugins/pages-with-category-and-tag/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/pages-with-category-and-tag/))
   or with Create and Assign Categories for Pages ([https://wordpress.org/plugins/create-and-assign-categories-for-pages/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/create-and-assign-categories-for-pages/)).
 * I’ve also contacted the author to see if he plans to update ‘this’ plugin.

 * There is so little code in it that i think it’s not a security risk.
