# Plugin activation buttons not working

 * Hi,
 * I hope someone can help. I am having problems trying to activate (or, for that
   matter, deactivate) plugins.
 * I go to the Plugins page and I can see the list. When I click on the Activate
   button WordPress says (at the top of that page) ‘Plugin activated’ – except it
   isn’t! Eventually (after clicking many times I got a couple of the plugins to
   be activated (including one that I didn’t want) and it took me several attempts
   to get that one deactivated.
 * Now, I’m trying to activate another plugin – but WordPress just won’t do it!!
 * Is it me? Or is there something else I must do?
 * Hope someone can help.

   1.5.2

 * In wp-config.php add two lines under //define (‘WPLANG’, ”);
 * `set_magic_quotes_runtime('0');
    set_magic_quotes_runtime('0');

   and still have plugin activation/deactivation links that do not work. Did anyone
   else find a different solution?

 * To update on this issue:
 * The plugin activation/deactivation issue seems to come and go, and works more
   often than not. hmmmmm
