# Plugin – Add New / Theme error

 * Hello,
 * I’m a having an issue with 5.1.1. When I go to plugin and click on ADD NEW or
   Theme, it will come back with the following:-
 * An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with WordPress.org or this
   server’s configuration.
 * Had tried de-activating plugins, changing themes, running Health check etc but
   nothing works.
 * Need help badly.

 * Hi there,
 * That just doesn’t sound fun. How comfortable are you installing an application
   and uploading the theme or plugin. Using a program like FileZilla or Cyberduck
   to upload the files to your site is another option of installing themes and plugins
   to your site.

 * Hi guys,
 * Thanks for your inputs, I’ve managed to solve it. My server’s host file is pointing
   to old wordpress update server IPs. I have no idea who place those IPs there:)
