 * I’m watching a video tutorial, and it is showing how to install plugins through
   the site itself.
 * I’m apparently running the most recent version of word press, 3.2, but my plugin
tab does not contain the “add” button.
 * Here is a link to [what it should look like.](http://awakeandarise.org/Images/plugin-as-should-be.png)
 * And here is mine, with [no such “add” button option](http://awakeandarise.org/Images/plugin-as-mine-is.png)
   to search for plugins.
 * What is up with that?

 * I’m not sure what that is or means, so I don’t think so.

 * Safe answer! 😀
 * Are you logged in as the admin account?

 * Thanks for your helping on this topic.
 * Yes, I am the administrator, but somehow there are some “permissions” that are
messed up on occassion I see them manifest. I had some other users formed, they
were authors and contributors, then I deleted them and after that I could not
update WordPress through it’s internal mechanism, I have to do it manually by
replacing all the files accept my custom themes and the Config.php file.
 * So, yes, I am the administrator, that is how I’m logged in, but somehow that
account has proven at times to give me “you do not have privilages” to do this
or that. I don’t know how that came about, nor do I know how to correct it. I
suppose it’s something in the database, correct? Something with a table?
