 * Hi, I have an Editor role that I have modified.
 * For some reason the addthis panel in their dashboard says Cheating, uh instead
   of displaying stats even though I have permitted this in their dashboard.
 * Google analytics and any other plugin dashboard widgets that I have allowed for
   them work/display fine.
 * Any ideas?
 * Thanks

 * The dashboard widget requires the manage_options capability. In our next version
   I’ll make sure that it doesn’t show up unless the user has that capability which
   will prevent this error from being displayed. I’m also adding in a filter that
   will allow this to be override if a site admin wishes to apply a different rule.

 * Thanks, that is excellent to hear, coz I love addthis and I like being able to
   use it for clients, but in some cases I really have to batten down the hatches
   on the backend in regards to what I allow them access to but I do want them to
   be able to see their stats even if i dont allow them to touch any options etc
   iykwim lol
 * Enjoy your day

 * 2.4.0 gives you finer control over who can see the dashboard stats module. [https://github.com/clearspring/AddThis-WordPress-plugin-cookbook/blob/master/dashboard-stats-for-all.php](https://github.com/clearspring/AddThis-WordPress-plugin-cookbook/blob/master/dashboard-stats-for-all.php)
   is an example plugin that will display it for all users. You can do your own
   callback instead of __return_true() if you want to have finer grain control.
