 * Hi,
 * When I first access the plugin I get the familiar message:
 * > PLEASE READ THIS! You entered Advanced Access Manager Option Page.
   > This graphic interface allows you to control access to your WordPress Blog.
   > DO NOT try to change settings if you are not sure what you are doing! If you
   > have problems or questions, or just found something weird in a system’s behavior,
   > PLEASE take a look to FAQ section before asking for support.
   > For your safety, after you press OK button, Super Admin Role will be created
   > specifically for your user.
   > Users with already defined Super Admin Role will be deprived of it and replaced
   > with Administrator Role
   > If you have Multi-Site Setup, you will see the same message again for each
   > new Blog you entered or created.
 * I click OK but the message does not disappear – the loading page symbol just
   keeps going round and round. I can click the ‘X’ and then seemingly use the plugin
   in but when testing the site the access rights have not been applied.
 * I believe this is due to the Super Admin not being created in the first instance.
   How can I resolve this?
 * Thank you.

 * few more question.
    Version of WP and AAM. And are you using multisite setup?

 * WP Version: 3.3.1
 * AAM: 1.5.8.1 (beta)
 * Also, some additional information which may or may not be relevant. I used the
   export tool to move content from my old server/domain to new server/domain. I
   used the “All Content Option”
 * “All content: This will contain all of your posts, pages, comments, custom fields,
   terms, navigation menus and custom posts.”
 * In my old site/server AAM was working perfectly…

 * Forgot to say; not using multisite setup.

 * Another thought…is it something to do with the fact I deleted the user associated
   with wp:author_id 1 ? Is AAM looking for that id to create the super admin?

 * Hi **abenson2**,
    I believe I found the cause of problems. This probably happens
   when somebody try to manager AAM when he/she is not a root admin (admin created
   during WP setup). This cause that super admin is not created in fact that add_user_to_blog
   is not loaded if site is not a multisite. After that you just have to messup
   something in administrator role and that’s it – admin access lost. I’ll fix this
   issue tonight and on Sunday will release next version.

    Vasyl

 * Last release 1.5.8.2 (beta) has some fixes related to this issue.
 * I appreciate you **abenson2 **for patient and logs.
 * I’m putting AAM on hold until all possible scenarios will be fixed. That can’t
   last anymore.

 * Just to note AAM 1.5.8.2 did not change the Administrator to a Super Admin on
   WP 3.2.1 fresh install.
 * I was trying your – what seems to be a great – plugin on WP 3.2.1 and the latest
   release of AAM 1.5.8.2 and it did not work. The Super Admin was not created and
   the windowed message was stuck indefinitely. As well, got the same errors in
   the logs.
 * So I upgraded WP to 3.3.1 and the Super Admin was created with no problems so
   far.
 * The thing is this would have been great for a couple of projects I’d like to
   use this on but they run on WP 3.2.1 for the moment and updating to WP 3.3.1
   at this moment in time is not an option.
 * Anyway you need to change the required on the plugin page from 3.2 to 3.3 so
   users don’t waste time over it.

 * I believe I have the same problem, in being stuck with the spinning loading wheel.

   I’m running the latest wp 3.3.1 and the latest version 1.6.2. When I try to change
   the current role to a new one I’ve created, I’m left with the spinning wheel
   of death.
 * I think in the past it did work and would just load up the capabilities for the
   newly created role, but alas now it does not. Any ideas?
