# [Plugin: Advanced Recent Posts Widget] Widget won't stay in sidebar

 * I’m having a problem with the widget saving in the sidebar. This doesn’t happen
   on all the site I maintain, just some of them. The plugin has appeared to have
   installed fine, and the everything looks right but when you look at the site 
   the widget isn’t there and returning to the widget editor shows that the widget
   isn’t in the sidebar anymore.

 * What version of WP are you using? What theme are you using?

 * I can’t get the thumbnails to show. I’m using the twenty ten theme so should 
   take them.

 * Hi,
    I have the exact same issue as whitneyclaire above. I have added the widget
   to the sidebar and save it. If I move off the Appearance>Widget page and then
   go back in the Advanced Recent Posts Widget is back in the Available Widgets 
   area and is not in the Sidebar.
 *  I am using the latest versions of Catalyst Theme and WordPress.
 * Any help would be appreciated.
