[Plugin: Ajaxy Live Search] problem with accents

I have a problem (charset I suppose) with ALS and accent (french website)
when I search for “église” for exemple and click on “see more results”, my search term in my adressebar is “%E9glise” and wordpress doesn’t fnd results.
How can I fix that ?
