# Plugin and theme translation not loading

 * Just a follow up with some more detail on the brief chat we had a while ago on
   Slack.
 * I’ve translated Editor Blocks plugin, theme and child theme to [Portuguese (Brazil)](https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/editor-blocks/).
 * The plugin and theme translations are loaded by WordPress, as I can see both 
   the .po and .mo files present in the /wp-content/languages/plugins[or themes]/
   folder. But for some reason they do not show on the website. Only the brief description
   of the child theme appears translated on the Appearance > Themes slider.
 * If I go to WP Dashboard > Editor Block, the whole description of the plugin remains
   in English. Also, if I add a block, all names are in English, which reduces the
   functionality of the / method to invoke a block, as users would have to remember
   the English name of the block to add it this way.
 * Let me know if I can provide any other info to help debug this issue.
