# [Plugin: Articles] How to Activate the Token Method

 * On the Articles Options page for administering the plugin
    “Enable Token Method”
   is broken – the update does not hold – it keeps resetting to “No” on updating“
   List Articles in How Many Columns” setting does hold OK
 * So when you try and use the Template token method it just shows this:
 * ###articles###
 * This problem can be fixed quite easily:
 * Go to your Mysql database in phpMyAdmin – and find the WP-Options table – look
   for aka_token under Option Name and change Option Value for aka_token from 0 
   to 1.
 * This will make it work. When you go to the Articles Options page “Enable Token
   Method” now is set to “Yes”.
 * The only way to get this setting to hold is to change the aka_token value from
   0 to 1 in WP-Options.
 * It’s a shame it’s broken like this as it’s a very nice plugin
