# [Plugin: BackUpWordPress] PHP running in Safe Mode?

 * On my Dashboard the following message appears and apparently I cannot run BackUpWordPress
   until this is addressed.
 * >  BackUpWordPress has detected a problem. PHP is running in Safe Mode. Please
   > contact your host and ask them to disable Safe Mode.
 * I don’t know anything about WordPress even having a Safe Mode, so I don’t know
   why it would get activated, or how to deal with it.
 * Perhaps most importantly, is there something I should be looking for that is 
   problematic and needs fixing since it is the cause of Safe Mode being triggered?
