# [Plugin: BackWPup (free)] Dropbox error

 * After updating to the most recent version of BackWPup, I get an error message
   when the back-up file wants to upload to Dropbox:
 *     ```
       "ERROR: Dropbox API: (35) error:0D0C50A1:asn1 encoding routines:ASN1_item_verify:unknown message digest algorithm"
       ```
   
 * In the job itself it states that Dropbox is authenticated and all previous back-
   ups before the latest update uploaded to my account without issues.
    I tried 
   reauthenticating, but a similar error is returned: `Dropbox API: (35) error:0D0C50A1:
   asn1 encoding routines:ASN1_item_verify:unknown message digest algorithm`
 * I’m not that tech-savvy, so I’m having a hard time understanding what this error
   means. Any help would be much appreciated!
