# [Plugin: Basic Google Maps Placemarks] disable map zoom

 * Hi,
 * Thanks for this great plugin!
 * I actually have two questions:
    1) Is it possible to disable the zoom function
   on the map. I’m covering a large area with Placemarks right across this area,
   and don’t want the users to zoom in? 2) Is it possible to custom the colors of
   the Placemark balloon? Or to have more than one color balloon?

 * Hi Igi,
    1. There isn’t an option for that right now, but I’ll add it to my request list
       and implement it if enough people ask for it.
    2. You can use any image you want for a marker by clicking on the ‘Set Featured
       Image’ link when editing the placemark.

 * Version 1.6 adds an option to disable zooming. Set ‘Navigation control’ to off.
   They can still zoom by double-clicking, though.
