# [Plugin: Better WP Security] Data Base Error Disabling Multisite

 * Hello,
 * I’m trying to disable mulsite feature where my primary site is a BuddyPress website
   which I want to keep. Disabling MultiSite is giving me database error and repair
   screen. This repair screen is however getting failed to do the repair.
 * I used the ‘Change Database Prefix’ option of Better WP Security. Do you think
   it may be the reason of problem? If yes, can you kindly guide me what can I do
   about it?

 * That shouldn’t cause it as it uses WordPress’ own methods for changing the DB
   table. That said, I’ve never heard of someone easily transitioning from multi-
   site to a single-sit install. I would recommend asking on the Buddypress page
   for further help.

 * No it didn’t 🙁 . Tried a lot of things/suggestions but no luck, I’m still on
   MultiSite.
