In a multisite installation, the plugin works on the first site. But on the other sites, I get the message: * ERROR: You must activate this plugin from the network dashboard. * I have activated the plugin in the network dashboard. This file will have effects on all of its sites (main and subs). It looks like CSS isn’t loading well and when I fill out username and PW I can’t login. This is why I thought there should be per-site settings. The code in the. htaccess for hiding the login page only affects the main site, but (in my case) messes up the login page for subsites (with domain mapping). I think I have to insert the code in .htaccess by hand for hiding login pages other than the login for the main page. Changing the Content Directory usually will cause problems with multisite environment, and the bad news are, you can’t change it back it requires lots of work to repair once you enable the feature. * My suggestions (for mark_m): * 1. Try to keep this Better WP Security activated but disable all features to see if your issue still happens. * 2. Then try to enable the Hide Backend, and see if the issue will happen. * 3. If you’re using any caching plugin, you should only activate the caching plugin after you have make Better WP Security works correctly. * 4.
