# Plugin breaks admin section?? I don’t know why?

 * So when I install a plugin and activate it in the admin, everything is fine. 
   However, when if I go back and edit/hack that same plugin something happens and
   the plugin admin section is all messed up. I can see all of the code within the
   plugin directly on the plugin admin page.
 * The plugin still works fine, the plugin admin section is just messed up. I can
   upload a screenshot if someone can’t understand this.
 * Any help would be awesome!

 * Mac is good. DW is evil 🙂
 * The issue is you, probably, save the files after editing with the wrong line 
   breaks. Mac editors tend to do this.
    Search for wrong line breaks or simply 
   set your editor (I mean a normal text editor) to save the files with DOS line
   breaks.

 * Yea thank you. I had no idea dreamweaver was doing this. I just actually found
   this post ( [http://wordpress.org/support/topic/138360?replies=7](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/138360?replies=7))
   which answered all of my questions.
