 * Having tried the plugin and wasn’t keen on the location of the red display on
   the profile i removed it but this has now stopped my automatic buddy press activation
   link emails from being sent – is there anything i need to remove that the plugin
   might have left behind ?

 * What changes/edits did you make, and how are you applying them? The display of
   the message should be able to be removed via remove_action, for example. Not 
   sure of anything that should be preventing the emails from going out, to be honest.
   We hook in after them, for our stuff.
