# Plugin: Category Subsciptions – How to set default subscriptions?

 * We’ve just started using WordPress for internal communication and have the category
   subscription plugin activated. Is it possible to create default subscription 
   settings where:
 * 1) All users get immediate notification of one particular category (Staff Announcements
   for example) by default. Ideally they could change the frequency but could not
   unsubscribe from this category.
 * 2) All users get a weekly digest of all the latest posts by default but can change
   the frequency and/or subscribed categories (Digest will send one email containing
   all the subscribed categories, right?)
 * If possible, how can these defaults be set automatically for users? If not possible,
   is there a plugin that allows this? It would be great. Thank you.
