 * Hello,
 * I’m having a really weird problem and I can’t figure out the solution. Every
   time that I update any setting of Events Manager, my “Reviews” pages are not
   found (“page not found”). If I go to my permalinks and resave, my “Reviews” are
   back again. This doesn’t happen to “Posts” or “Pages”, only “Reviews”. Do you
   know how I can fix this?
 * Thanks!

 * Hi,
 * Have you tried to temporarily:
 * – deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this
   works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(
   s).
    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems

 * Yes, I’ve tried that. My theme is working perfectly with all of my other plugins.
   The problem disappears when I disable “Events Manager, so I’m assuming it’s trying
   to overwrite or utilize the “Reviews”. I’m not really sure, but it’s very specific
   to “Reviews” and not “Pages” or “Posts”. Any ideas?

 * I’ve seen this before, and the cause was because the theme trying to create the
   custom post type (in your case ‘reviews’) is doing it wrong somehow.
 * The solution was to install a plugin like “custom post type ui” and re-add your
   reviews post type, matching settings of your current cpt. It won’t prevent your
   reviews from functioning as intended but it’ll make sure that it adds this custom
   post type in the right part of the code and prevent permalink problems.

 * OK, thanks Marcus. I’ll look into that.
