# [Plugin: Comment Rating] broken

 * The plugin generated 29 characters of unexpected output during activation. If
   you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or
   other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.

 * I got this same error and the actual plugin isn’t working for me on 3.0.1
    The
   thumbs up/down icons will appear on the page but when I click them nothing happens.
   The data never even makes it to the database as the commentrating table stays
   empty.
 * Can someone more knowledgeable give me a hand in resolving this?

 * Ok, I solved half of my own problem by adding the wp_footer() function to my 
   footer…oops.
 * But, I’d still like to know that error means that gemboy posted and what I can
   do to fix it.

 * I got the same error when installing but it seems to work fine (WordPress 3.0.5.(
   putting off updating to 3.1 since it wrecked the cool features of my other site
   but I wonder if updating would of made a difference)

 * Same problem here. The script appears in the footer but still no response.
 * I’ve installed the plugin, but it doesn’t work. When voting, there’s no response.

 * yohay, Is the path to the Comment Rating correct? If it’s not, the settings in
   your WordPress Settings->General “Blog Address (URL)” could be wrong

   system is colliding with it.

 * yohay, I’ve had my caching system ‘weird up’ a lot of things. Have you checked
   the SQL db table to see if the ratings are being saved but not displayed?
 * Oh, and what caching system are you using? I was having major problems with W3
   Total Cache breaking most javascript code when ever I tried to minify/combine
   the javascript files.

 * Hi, Indeed, I´m using W3 Total Cache. The recent version doesn´t work well with
   minify, but it still has other advantages, so I´m sticking with it. At least 
   for now…

 * W3 Total Cache can be kept running on your installation without breaking the 
   comment rating plugin. All you have to do to eliminate any possible intereference
   is disable all javascript compression/combination/minification.
