# [Plugin: Contact Form 7] Attachments problem

 * Hello there everyone!
 * I’m having real trouble with attachments under Contact Form 7.
    I have read all
   the forums and: – I have the fields [file file-name1] [file file-name2] inside
   the post and [file-name1][file-name2] in the Attachment field – You can see that
   the file is uploading because it takes time for larger files – When I receive
   the message the attachments never go through and the type of message is always
   text/plain or text/html (tested for both).
 * I have tried many versions of Contact Form 7, 1.9.2, 1.9.4 and 2.0 and it doesn’t
   work for any of them.
 * I have already put a lot of work into building the forms and would like to continue
   using this plugin.
 * Please help! Thank you.

 * Do you use other mail-related plugins? Having text/plain or text/html mime type
   is a suggestion that something is changing it.

 * I’m not so sure but it’s possible. what happens if you stop them?

 * takayukister: I have tried everything I could before writing here again:
    a) 
   I have updated to Contact Form 2.0.1 b) I have updated WordPress to 2.8.2 c) 
   I have turned off all of my plugins except the essential 3 – Get a Post, WordPress
   Breadcrumbs and Contact Form 7 d) I have tried both HTML and TXT – still message
   header is text/plain or text/html and no attachments 🙁
 * I really need help on this one – would be happy to buy premium services if you

 * I had the a similar problem where the attachment would just be turned into a 
   large amount of code in my posts. After a little trial and error I tried it with
   the Postie plugin and it works great. You may want to load the Postie plugin 
   to use with Contact Form 7, I think this will solve your problem.
