# [Plugin: Copy Compass] ERROR – Error: can't open file cdata.aa ?

   compass/includes/cdata.aa
 * Checked for cdata.aa in the includes folder and it’s not there. Why am I getting
   this error?

 * Hi Bryna
 * Thanks for picking this up. This might be because you’re on a shared host that
   has very strict file permission settings. Try **chmod** the “**includes**” directory
   within the “copy-compass” directory to **775**. This should fix the problem.

 * Actually, I just released version 1.4.0 that should deal with this error directly.
   You shouldn’t need to change your permission level. Please download the latest
   version and try again.
